Lunch Bucket Hockey began in 1996 when a group of hockey players building dasher boards for the NHL started gathering on Fridays for pickup hockey. What started with 33 skaters grew into a tradition spanning NHLers, Olympians, youth players, and families. The Lunch Bucket Cup, awards, and community spirit made it more than a game—it became a lifestyle rooted in hard work, grit, and fun. Today, Lunch Bucket Hockey is a lifestyle brand which represents a culture that connects players and fans of all levels through the values of teamwork, effort, and passion.

ABOUT SKATE IT FORWARD

HOCKEY IS HARD ENOUGH. GETTING ON THE ICE SHOULD BE EASY.

The core objective of Skate It Forward is to grow community hockey participation in Minnesota by making it easier for first-time players to get on the ice. Ultimately, the goal is to one day make the first year of ice time free for every young hockey player in Minnesota.
